United Airlines Orders 270 Boeing and Airbus Aircraft, Largest Order in the Airline's History

The airline plans to increase the total number of domestic seats for mainline routes by more than 30% while at the same time minimizing carbon emissions. This comes as part of United's goal to become 100% eco-friendly by the year 2050.
Smooth Flying for the MAX?

Since then, Boeing has been making adjustments to the plane, trying to get it recertified and deemed airworthy once again. Boeing has, of course, experienced difficulty during this time, with lawsuits, investigations, canceled orders, loss of customers, loss of trust, and to make matters worse, COVID-19. But now, as the MAX enters the final stages of the recertification process, it seems as if things may start going Boeing's way.
