NEWS Sep 22, 2022 VIDEO: Sparks Fly From United Airlines 777-200 as it Departs Newark Airport, Makes Emergency Landing United Airlines flight 149, a scheduled service from Newark/New York (EWR) to Sao Paulo, Brazil (GRU) departed at 11:24 pm when it experienced suspected engine trouble. The aircraft in question is N787UA, a Boeing 777-200ER in United's new livery. After takeoff, the aircraft entered a holding pattern over the Atlantic Ocean, displaying an altitude of FL240 (24,000 feet) on FlightRadar24. NEWS Sep 14, 2022 Israel Will Ban Four Engine Planes in 2023 Beginning on March 31, 2023 Israel will ban the Boeing 747 and other four engine aircraft in a statement from the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) in hopes of reducing noise and air pollution. The IAA also says it has told airlines that they will not be able to operate large aircraft at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) for the summer season.
