ROUTES Aug 30, 2022 Air Premia to Begin Seoul-Los Angeles Service in October South Korea-based startup Air Premia revealed plans to launch operations in the United States in October. The Korean startup will fly between Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on October 5th. NEWS Aug 20, 2022 JSX Eyes New Service Between Dallas and Orange County Next month, United States-based carrier JSX will launch a route between Dallas and Orange County, California, to add to its network. Currently, JSX serves both destinations from other US cities; the pair will now receive a daily route using private terminals at each airport. ROUTES Jun 22, 2022 French Bee Continues To Grow In The United States With New Route Between Miami and Paris Low-cost carrier French bee will commence service between Paris Orly to Miami in December. Miami is the fourth US route from Paris Orly, joining San Francisco (May 2018), Newark Liberty (June 2020), and Los Angeles (April 2022). NEWS May 23, 2022 United Airlines Returns To Norway On May 20th, United Airlines new service connecting Newark (EWR) to Bergen (BGO) began, which also marks United Airlines return to Norway. NEWS May 07, 2022 FAA Wants Airlines To Replace 5G Sensitive Equipment Airlines industry leaders are expected to meet with officials from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to speak about issues relating to 5G. According to a report by Reuters, the FAA wants airlines to replace aircraft affected by radio altimeters. ROUTES Apr 25, 2022 Spirit Airlines Begins Service To Memphis Ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has officially started service to Memphis International Airport (MEM). The carrier operated its inaugural flights from Orlando (MCO) and Las Vegas (LAS) to Memphis. Flights began on April 20th and will operate daily. NEWS Feb 05, 2022 American's Big New Boeing 737 MAX Order American Airlines has announced that it has firmed options for an additional 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
