Inside AHG, the Century-Old Company Behind Aerospace Fasteners

For over a century, Ateliers de la Haute-Garonne (AHG) has been synonymous with precision, reliability, and industrial excellence.

Founded in 1915 and active in the aerospace sector since 1954, the family-owned company has grown into one of the world's leading manufacturers of aerospace fastening solutions while remaining firmly rooted in its values of quality, innovation, and customer commitment.

Today, AHG is a fully integrated industrial group specializing in the design and manufacture of aerospace fasteners and headed parts, serving commercial aviation, defense, and space markets. Its product portfolio includes a wide range of solid rivets, bolts, and lockbolts that are capable of securing aircraft structures under extreme stress, vibration, and temperatures. All fastening solutions are manufactured from aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, Monel, and Inconel materials.

Headquartered in Flourens, near Toulouse (the heart of the European aerospace industry), AHG operates several industrial facilities in France and Morocco. This footprint gives the company both manufacturing depth and supply chain resilience, two qualities that have become increasingly critical as aerospace programs demand shorter lead times and greater continuity of supply.

"At AHG, we believe that long-term partnerships are built on trust, consistency and technical excellence. For more than 100 years, our mission has been to provide our customers with fastening solutions that combine the highest levels of quality, reliability and responsiveness. As aerospace programs continue to evolve, we remain committed to supporting our customers with innovation, industrial strength and a genuine passion for service."

More than 1,250 employees support this operation, serving customers across every major aerospace region in the world.

AHG's reputation has been built on its ability to meet the highest aerospace standards. The company holds certifications including AS/EN 9100 and ISO 9001, NADCAP, and ISO27001, alongside compliance with NIST standards. This certification portfolio reflects a longstanding commitment to product quality, process control, and continuous improvement across every stage of production.

Few validations carry more weight in aerospace than a customer list built over decades.AHG has become a trusted partner to all major aerospace organizations such as Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Embraer, AVIC, Lockheed Martin, Safran, alongside several leading aerospace distribution specialists.

What truly differentiates AHG is its combination of industrial scale and family ownership. This structure enables long-term decision-making without the short-term pressures that can shape publicly traded competitors. What's more, this long-term outlook enables AHG to make sustained investments in production capabilities and establish close relationships with its customers.

The result is a company that can flex between high-volume production programs and highly specialized applications, offering the responsiveness of a smaller supplier with the expertise of an industry leader.

The AHG website features its expansive product line, with inventory ranging from lockbolts, to rivets, and more.

The aerospace industry is facing increasing demands for performance, sustainability, and supply chain security. AHG is positioning itself to meet all three, as it continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies, process optimization, and international development.

The company's ambition is clear: to remain a leading supplier for critical fastening solutions while supporting the next generation of aircraft and aerospace platforms.
