NEWS Feb 23, 2024 United Airlines to Launch Nonstop Flights Between Guam and Tokyo-Haneda United Airlines announced the launch of nonstop flights between Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport (GUM) in Guam and Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) on May 1. United will use its Boeing 737-800 aircraft for this year-round service, accommodating 166 passengers, including 16 in business class. ROUTES Feb 22, 2024 American Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights Between New York-JFK and Tokyo-Haneda American Airlines confirmed and announced the schedule for its route between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) on February 21.¬†This announcement comes almost one month after the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) tentatively approved the route. NEWS Feb 06, 2024 Hundreds of Flights Canceled at Tokyo Airports as Region Faces Heavy Snow More than 100 flights from Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo were canceled on February 5 amid severe winter weather across the Greater Tokyo Area. Japan Airlines' 54 flight cancellations affected 6,150 passengers, with one canceled international flight to Seoul affecting 200 passengers. ROUTES Jan 27, 2024 American Airlines Gets Tentative Approval for New York-JFK to Tokyo Flights On January 26, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) gave tentative approval for American Airlines to launch nonstop flights between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND). This service will join existing routes between New York-JFK and Tokyo-Haneda offered by All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines.
