Flag carrier Qatar Airways (QR) and Google Cloud have entered into a collaboration to explore the potential of utilizing Google Cloud's data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

Qatar Airways, a leading airline that served 18.5 million passengers across 150 destinations globally in 2022, is embarking on a digital transformation journey.

The airline's digital transformation unit manages a vast amount of structured and unstructured data generated by its extensive passenger base.

 

To unlock deeper insights from this data, Qatar Airways is planning to collaborate with Google Cloud.

 

Qatar Airways aims to leverage Google Cloud's advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) solutions, including BigQuery and Vertex AI, through this collaboration.

These powerful tools will enable the airline to derive valuable insights from customer data, enabling a more personalized and tailored travel experience.

 

By understanding individual needs, travel trends, and past travel history, Qatar Airways can offer passengers customized offerings and enhance their overall journey.

 

Furthermore, Qatar Airways and Google Cloud will investigate additional areas of cooperation, such as leveraging cloud tools to achieve cost optimization, streamline operations, and more.
