Summary of Routes
The routes are slated to start on the following dates:
- Charlotte (CLT)- June 7th, 2023
- Dallas Fort Worth (DFW)- June 7th, 2023
- Houston (IAH)- August 9th, 2023
- Los Angeles (LAX)- July 5th, 2023

Admirable ‘Spirit’?
These routes will add to Spirit’s current services from Boston including Atlanta (ATL), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW) [seasonal], Las Vegas (LAS), Miami (MIA), Myrtle Beach (MYR), Orlando (MCO), San Juan (SJU), and Tampa (TPA) [seasonal].
The airline also announced back in February its expansion from San Jose to Las Vegas, Dallas, and San Diego beginning June 7. This continues in Spirit's ‘spirit’ of taking on its legacy carrier rivals in bigger, more popular destinations.
With the pending merger with JetBlue, time will tell if these routes will be added in competition should the merger not be approved or to compete against the other large airlines in Boston.
