VIDEO: IAF Tejas Crashes at Dubai Airshow

An Indian Air Force (IAF) HAL Tejas crashed during a display at the Dubai Airshow today, November 21. At approximately 2:15 p.m. aircraft was performing a maneuver over Dubai Al-Maktoum Airport (DWC) when the accident occurred. The pilot was killed.

A video posted to X shows that the pilot does not seem to have ejected from the aircraft before impact.

Footage captured by AeroXplorer shows the smoke billowing from the crash site, with emergency vehicles en route.

Another angle captures the preceding maneuver, as well as the point at which the aircraft makes impact.

The Dubai Airshow suspended all flying displays for the hour following the accident. More information will be posted when it becomes available.
