The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), recognized as the world’s largest military air show, was held this July 2025 in the United Kingdom.
Pakistan, once again eyeing the skies, was awarded the “Concours d’Elegance Trophy” at the event for its exhibition.

The “Shaheen”, a Falcon livery C-130 presented by the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) with an intricately-designed special livery was scored “second to none,” leading Pakistan Air Forces across the globe. The special livery won the “Concours d’Elegance Trophy” for its artistic excellence and presentation, scoring the top honour in aesthetic and technical categories.
RIAT 2025's theme was “Eyes in the Skies”, and PAF's design fascinated both global audiences and aviation enthusiasts. The aircraft’s impeccable condition and the story behind its artwork impressed judges and viewers alike, positioning it as the best-designed aircraft in its class at the event.

The Concours d’Elegance Trophy is presented to the technically maintained and most beautifully presented airplane at RIAT. This victory positions Pakistan among the top-tier universal aviation tycoons, showcasing the country's recent focuses on precision and innovation.
CAS, Pakistan Air Force, congratulated the PAF team on this triumph, stating:
“Winning the Concours d’Elegance is a proud moment for the entire nation. It reflects not only our technical capability and aesthetic excellence but our unwavering dedication to professionalism. This triumph is a testament to PAF’s official motto— ‘Second to None’.”

This is not the first time the Pakistan Air Force has impressed at RIAT. This award continues the country's legacy, as it previously secured accolades in 2006, 2016, and 2018.
As the aircraft soared above the skies of the UK, the Hercules served as a reminder of the professionalism, dedication, and skill of its crew, further demonstrating that excellence in aviation knows no borders.
