Delta is Giving Away Free Flights to the Paris Olympics. Here's How to Enter

As airlines around the world gear up to ferry passengers to the 2024 Paris Olympics, one airline is holding sweepstakes for one lucky person to win a free ticket to Paris.

How To Enter 

The giveaway, sponsored by Delta Vacations, is set to take place until April 24, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. Those looking to enter need to follow @deltavacations on Instagram and find the post announcing it. After following the company, one should comment on the sweepstakes post their favorite vacation memory and tag a friend. The comment should also include the hashtag #DeltaVacationsSweepstakes. Only one entry is allowed per person. 

What Can I Win?

The "Grand Prize" as it is referred to by Delta "...includes round-trip main cabin Delta flights for two, a 6-night stay at a 5-star hotel in Paris and tickets for two to six Olympic Games sessions [in which Team USA is competing], including the Closing Ceremony..."

Delta is the official sponsor airline of Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. In December of 2021, the airline unveiled a special livery commemorating its sponsorship of Team USA on one of the airline's Airbus A330-900neos. Recently, Airbus revealed a Delta A350-900 with another USA Olympic Team livery. 

In the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, alongside being the official sponsor airline of Team USA, Delta is the official partner airline. 

Airlines around the world are preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics, with Air France launching a new advertising campaign with the Olympics at its center. Airlines are increasing flight frequencies and ramping up schedules to Paris in anticipation of the increased traffic. 

Certain eVTOL companies, such as German Volocopter, are planning to debut their eVTOL aircraft at the 2024 Olympic Games. Some proposed eVTOL "trial routes" that might be run during the games are Paris-CDG Airport and LeBourget Airport to Paris Austerlitz (Gare d'Austerlitz). A project led by Volocopter plans to build five "vertiports" within the Paris region.
