Air Elite FBO Network Grows Australian Footprint

Air Elite FBO Network Grows Australian Footprint

Two Australian FBOs have joined the Air Elite by World Fuel Services network this month: Revesco Aviation, based at Perth Airport (YPPH), and Machjet International, which runs its facility at Queensland's Sunshine Coast Airport (YBSU). The additions bring Air Elite's Australian roster to four FBOs, part of a global network of 78 member locations.

Sitting on opposite coasts, the two new members give Air Elite genuine east-west coverage across Australia, an addition that matters for a network built around consistent standards wherever an operator lands.

Getting In Isn't Automatic

Air Elite isn't open to just anyone. World Fuel extends invitations only to independently owned FBOs that clear a high bar on customer service, day-to-day operations, safety record, and facility quality. Members keep their own branding and ownership, but agree to the same baseline of service behind the network's "Diamond Service" designation for its top performers.

Membership also plugs Revesco and Machjet into World Fuel's wider commercial ecosystem; operators using either FBO now get access to Contract Fuel, AVCARD payments, World Fuel Trip Support, and the company's rewards program.

Revesco Brings Perth Into the Fold

Perth Airport, Western Australia's main gateway for international arrivals, is where Revesco Aviation runs its FBO, about 12 kilometers outside the city center. Passengers get a dedicated lounge and airside transfers, aircraft get hangar space and ground handling, and because the site is a recognised Point of Entry, Revesco also manages the customs, immigration, and quarantine clearance that international arrivals require.

CEO Peter Hillier pointed to sustained demand across the state's economy as the backdrop for the move. "Western Australia continues to see demand from operators supporting business," Hillier said, pointing also to steady interest from the resources, government, and leisure-travel sectors, and adding that Revesco is looking forward to putting its local expertise to work for Air Elite operators flying into Perth.

Machjet Extends the Network Into Queensland

On the other coast, Machjet International joins Air Elite at Sunshine Coast Airport, fresh off completing a purpose-built, multi-million-dollar FBO and hangar complex there. The operator is part of the McDermott Aviation Group, with roughly four decades of aviation experience behind the family name, and runs a second base in Cairns alongside Sunshine Coast, together covering charter flights, ground handling, aeromedical retrieval, and cargo work across Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the South Pacific. Two more aircraft are due to join the fleet in the coming weeks.

Managing Director Simon McDermott pointed to the Air Elite designation as validation of that investment. "Joining the Air Elite network is an important milestone," McDermott said, tying the recognition to the company's ongoing push to grow its fleet and facilities for private charter, corporate, and government clients across the region.

A Regional Play, Not Just a Local One

For flight departments planning routes through the Asia-Pacific, having two more Air Elite-aligned options in Australia simplifies vendor selection, and fuel purchased under existing World Fuel Services contracts carries over at both new locations.

Malcolm Hawkins, World Fuel's Senior Vice President of Global Business Aviation, tied the announcement to the company's regional ambitions. "Australia continues to be an important market for business aviation," he said, noting that the country pulls double duty for operators, both a destination in its own right and a waypoint on longer Asia-Pacific routes.

Looking Ahead

Air Elite has grown steadily since its founding, and further build-out across the Asia-Pacific has been a stated priority for World Fuel. With Revesco Aviation and Machjet International now on the roster, crews flying into Perth or the Sunshine Coast get the same baseline of service Air Elite has built at member FBOs elsewhere, while Revesco and Machjet pick up the recognition, and reciprocal network benefits that come with it.
