In 2023, AeroXplorer has screened over 11,000 photos with over half of them being accepted. That's 2,000 photos more than in 2022! Now, the time of the year has come for the screening team to review every photo screened and pick out their favorites.

The photo that takes first place for March is this beautiful night exposure of a private Agusta Westland AW-139 starting up on the ramp at West 30th Street Heliport!
April: Steven Larson

April's number one photo goes to United's "Her Art Here" livery 757 taxiing at Tampa International Airport during golden hour! The palm trees add a chill ambience, coupled with a setting sun to create an all-around perfect photo.
May: Brady Noble

Our favorite photo from May goes to this Cathay Pacific Cargo 747-8 touching down on a beautiful day at Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport. Look at those stunning Alaska mountains in the background!
June: Luca Masaro

The best photo for June is a low-level shot of this US Air Force F-35 pulling some vapes in the California mountains on a calm summer morning!
July: Yusuf A

July's number one photo goes to this shot of a Finnair A350 landing at Helsinki Vantaa Airport. The gloomy dark clouds in the background add an interesting ambiance, contrasting the lightness of the aircraft.

Our favorite photo from November is this Turkish Airlines A330-300 raising its landing gear during its departure from Dusseldorf International Airport.
December: Mark M

And last but not least, December's number one photo goes to a U.S. Air Force F-16 with the 177th Fighter Wing's special black tail. This aircraft was captured performing a missed approach at Atlantic City International Airport on a sunny New Jersey morning!
