Turkish Airlines announced a collaboration with the color authority Pantone Color Institute to register PANTONE 7620, “Turkish Airlines Red.”

Turkish Airlines Red
In 1959, the signature emblem of Turkish Airlines was designed by Mesut Manioğlu. The logo is a "wild goose". A compatible image for the national flag carrier since geese are known to fly up to an altitude of 9,000 meters (29,528 feet).
Pantone is a consulting service within Pantone that forecasts global color trends and advises companies on color in brand identity. It showcases color as a strategic asset. In 1963, Pantone revolutionized the industry with the "Pantone Matching System". The tool organizes color standards through a proprietary numbering system and chip format.
Today's logo has a particular red color embedded in people's minds. Collaboration with Pantone for the iconic red color of its logo highlights the company's ongoing growth and global reach.

Introducing Turkish Airlines Red marks important milestones, including the first flight to Melbourne and expanding its flight network to six continents. It took place in a period when the airlines showcased network growths that connected many people around the world. Turkish Airlines Red represents the airline's dynamic structure, the warmth of Turkish hospitality, and the carrier's commitment to providing unique service and an authentic travel experience.
Turkish Airlines' Director of Communications Rafet Fatih Özgür said:
"Our collaboration with Pantone Color Institute to create Turkish Airlines Red is an important milestone in the development of our brand. This new color not only enhances our visual identity but also demonstrates our expanding global footprint and fleet growth. It is a sign of our excellence and innovation in connecting continents."

The Pantone Color Institute's Vice President Laurie Pressman added:
"As Turkish Airlines expands its flight network to 130 countries around the world, we are excited to collaborate with them in the creation of Turkish Airlines Red. Turkish Airlines Red is a shade of red that promises the excitement of new experiences with its bold attitude and pioneering spirit." And added, "Turkish Airlines Red awakens our passion to embark on a journey towards the unexplored. A strong and energetic, dynamic shade of red, Turkish Airlines Red expands our horizons and stimulates our desire to open our hearts and minds to the wholeness of life." published by the state-run news agency of Turkey, Anadolu Agency.
Turkish Airlines introduced a unique cabin scent under the name Turkish Delight in the 1980s, and later, the TK 1933 fragrance developed with MG Gülçiçek in 2016. These kinds of initiatives contribute to the brand name of Turkish Airlines on a great scale. The airline has also collaborated with globally recognized names Morgan Freeman, Kevin Costner, Kobe Bryant, Halle Berry, and Lionel Messi, which significantly increased the connection of many audiences and customers. With the new step, "Turkish Airlines Red," the company has chosen yet another unique approach that curates a better future for its future operations, goals, and a prestigious image appealing to its present and future passengers.
