With registration N781HA, the aircraft arrived at Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) from Charleston International Airport (CHS) in South Carolina on February 14. The pilot was "shaken" by the attack after being forced to give up "thousands and thousands" of pounds to the attackers in exchange for his release.
