The airline is expanding its list of year-round destinations, including Marseille and the Provence region, in addition to the annualization of its service to Lyon.

Moreover, the airline has extended the non-stop service to Nantes, which will now be operated until 24 January 2024. This move aims to provide travelers with more flexibility when traveling to western France.

Air Transat is the only airline providing direct flights from Canada to Marseille and Nantes airports. The Canadian carrier will have seven French cities with non-stop services in 2023, out of which Paris, Lyon, and Marseille will operate year-round.

The flight route will primarily utilize the latest Airbus A321LR aircraft, which have roomy cabins, advanced in-seat entertainment systems, and the most eco-friendly fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions compared to other aircraft in their category.
