Atlantic Aviation has announced a significant initiative to electrify the East 34th Street Heliport in New York City, preparing for the future of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations.
This comes as part of an extended five-year concession agreement with New York City’s Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and the City of New York. The heliport, located strategically in the heart of Manhattan, will undergo a comprehensive utility upgrade, including the installation of state-of-the-art charging stations to support eVTOL aircraft.
