Efficiency, economics, and safety.
These are three principles that aviation firms have grown to operate by. They highlight the main focuses of the industry: transporting passengers and goods in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Since its establishment in 2008, AerSale has grown to be a prime supplier for the aviation industry, upholding those very principles. With roots in the Miami-Dade County area, AerSale has since expanded to 8 locations. It is through these various satellite locations that the company can streamline operations for its customers, effectively serving as a “one-stop shop” for all possible needs – including maintenance, conversions, and sales.
Maintenance Services
AerSale offers a wide range of services, including MRO, parts & engine sales and leases, aircraft leasing, and its own engineered solutions. Its MRO division covers all the bases, offering not only maintenance, repair, and overhaul of individual components but also those of the entire aircraft. These include heavy maintenance, storage, and disassembly services if an aircraft is scheduled for part-out. Components that are salvaged from parted-out airframes are then refurbished and sold as USM to other customers. AerSale also offers modification and reconfiguration services, including passenger-to-cargo conversions and inspections when aircraft change operators.

AerSale is also a specialized lessor, offering a robust inventory of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Backed by deep industry expertise and an impressive portfolio, the company provides customized support for clients looking to expand their fleet or downsize. Its services are not only limited to the aircraft themselves but also the engines, including GE, CFM, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls-Royce powerplants available for sale, lease, and exchange. Customers benefit from working with experienced engineers and technicians, who are able to offer expert guidance during each stage of the process.
AerSale maintains one of the aviation industry’s largest inventories of USM, which allows the company to provide 30-40% savings to customers compared to buying brand-new parts. A recent partnership with SkyGuard Cargo, an Uzbek cargo airline, illustrates this well. Rather than investing in new aircraft, SkyGuard turned to AerSale for a converted 757-200PCF that met its operational requirements at a fraction of the cost, allowing the airline to expand its fleet without the capital burden of buying a new aircraft. These partnerships are what define AerSale's commercial proposition, enabling customers to achieve more with fewer resources.

In-House Innovation
AerSale also offers in-house engineered solutions for customers looking to overhaul their aircraft.
AerAware, AerSale's Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS), is the first of its kind to be certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This is a wearable heads-up display (HUD) that is worn by the pilots, primarily serving to aid flying during low-visibility conditions. The device boasts a 50% visual advantage over the naked eye and enhances situational awareness through multispectral imaging and a combination of synthetic and enhanced vision. It provides pilots with a wider field of view, along with real-time data to drive better-informed decision-making.

AerSale has also developed AerSafe, a fuel tank ignition mitigation system. This device limits the amount of available oxygen that can ignite fuel vapors and prevents sparks from initiating an explosion. AerSafe has been certified and validated by the FAA and EASA, and complies with Fuel Tank Flammability Reduction (FTFR) regulations.
The aviation aftermarket sector remains in high demand, with customers in constant need of aircraft maintenance and servicing. By offering a wide range of services and expertise through the intersections of asset expertise and innovative engineering solutions, AerSale remains at the forefront of the sector and a coveted provider in this realm.
