Shashi Ishara is an Aircraft Engineering graduate from Kingston University, with a passion for aviation that has stayed with him since childhood. That early fascination eventually became a career, and today he has over 13 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry, spanning both technical and managerial roles in aircraft component manufacturing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. He can still spot and identify most commercial aircraft from a distance, a small but telling reminder of where it all began.

I joined AGC in 2018. Since 2020, I have been engaged in the solvent business, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning. In December 2024, I relocated to the United States to take on responsibilities in sales and marketing of AMOLEA series, aiming to contribute to sustainability through these innovative solutions.

I joined AGC in 2011, starting on our technical team working in R&D and Technical Service, after moving to a hybrid-commercial/technical role in 2019, but shifted fully to the commercial team working with our key Tier customers, as well as, working to develop OEM relationships.

Donald Lawson received his B.S. in chemistry from Illinois State University. With over 40 years of formulation experience in the coatings industry, Mr. Lawson has developed commercial coatings for aerospace, military, and industrial applications. He has written extensive computer software to assist in formulation assessment and development. He is a co-inventor holding a patent on cardanol based dimers and a past recipient of the Dexter Corporation’s exceptional achievement award. Don is currently assigned to the LUMIFLON technical service group of AGCCA, Inc.
